Primordial Chaos

Live Forever by Oasis (Shut up, a lot of their lyrics are clever and apply to me. :P) I've been listening to this song a lot lately. I do that, get hooked on a song and listen to it till I get sick of it.

So, there's a million versions of this song, I'm going to put up 2. Some background, Oasis had 2 brothers as part of the band, Liam and Noel. Liam was, in general, the lead singer and Noel wrote. Now first off, I hate admitting this, but Noel is far more clever with words than myself. Second, WHY they had Liam singing is beyond me, because his voice is so fucking harsh to me. I love listening to Noel sing, I think he's the better singer, and I hope he goes out on a solo project cause it's ridiculous how talented he is both ways. Liam can go lick a dog's ass or something.

Anyways, I'm putting up a version Noel sings and the official/album version Liam sings. Just because.

So, as you know, I am always listening to music, my Droid is loaded for bear, and I have Pandora radio should I bore of my music collection. Oh and Youtube too. :P A couple of weeks ago I was listening to my music, and heard the same song twice in a row. However, one version was an Oasis version sung by Noel, the other...sung and performed on guitar by the devil whose name I dare not speak. (Warren. :P) Now, Warren's voice is fucking AMAZING. The fact he's not in music actually kind of shocks me, cause he should be. Anyways, I have a few songs Warren's done, and the ones where he is really doing the song are so musically impressive I keep them permanently on my Droid. Coming from someone as myself whose life is so entrenched in music almost constantly, that's a compliment, trust me. (See, I am capable of saying nice things, though you wouldn't know that listening to me rant about UNM lately.) Actually, the ones where he is being silly stay on my Droid too. Because my music is on shuffle and as fucking dork as this is, to randomly hear him being goofy in between songs makes me giggle and smile.

Oh shit, I'm wandering off topic. The point I'm trying to get to is that I noticed I like Noel's voice because it sounds like and reminds me of Warren's. (I heard Warren's first, so that's why I said it that way.) They're both talented singers and guitar players, and I can appreciate them for that. I was just really blown away at how similar their voices are. I have a special playlist with songs that only they sing. I listen to it when I'm stressed out.

My Lobos, oh my Lobos. We won against 25th ranked California tonight! That game was close the whole entire game, it was exciting as hell! So, we're STILL undefeated, 7-0! I don't have a reason to scream at the TV until Saturday, but BOTH the Lobos AND the Heels play! Heels are playing at Kentucky, and our in state rivals, New Mexico State, are heading over to our turf. Gonna wear my cherry red NM hoodie and my Carolina blue shorts all day. What a color combination, yeah? Get this, I even have high end gel pens I use on game days, one that is cherry red with silver (UNM's colors) and one that is Carolina blue. (You can order team spirit ANYTHING online, I swear to god.)

As I mentioned on Twitter, I know me being a sports fan is a weird idea to get used to. But as a public service and as not to embarrass my family and friends (more than I do), I promise to not show up on TV half naked and covered in paint. I cannot promise you won't see me yelling and acting a fool though. You all would get a kick out of that anyways.

My teams are off to a great start, and I'm having a great time cheering them on and saying "that was some bullshit" over and over. :P Yeah, I said my teams, I guess I can adopt the Heels at this point. :) I like their colors better anyways! Plus, I need a back up in case UNM embarrasses me. :P

Hahahaha, you know, the topic I was going to post about that related to the song/lyrics I chose for the title, I didn't even get to, and I need to go to bed. I'll just quote a diff part of the song tomorrow and go from there.
